Description

This “Envelope” from the Dão is a genuinely intriguing white wine, born from old vine Encruzado sourced from the Ribeira Sacra. The extended fermentation on the lees, combined with a lengthy barrel aging (300L) incorporating batonnage, delivers a wonderfully complex mineral character – think vibrant citrus acidity that lingers delightfully on the palate. It’s a wine that truly lives up to its name, and would be fantastic with freshly caught fish or roasted poultry.
