Esporão represents the diversity of the region and its main grape varieties (Loureiro, Alvarinho and Avesso). Unsweetened and still, it is a light, fresh wine with good aromatic intensity. The harvest is hand‑picked, followed by pneumatic pressing of whole bunches. The must is cold‑decanted for 24 hours. Fermentation takes place in stainless‑steel tanks at controlled temperatures (16 °C), with a subsequent ageing period in stainless steel with bâtonnage. Winemakers: Mafalda Magalhães and José Luís Moreira da Silva. Analyses: Total acidity 6.3 g l⁻¹; pH 3.20; reducing sugars 1.5 g l⁻¹.
