The Esporão company was born in Alentejo from an unconditional desire to make the finest wines. This motivation is reflected in every wine it produces and is the main reason it has expanded its range to other products and territories. The Esporão Estate, located in the heart of Alentejo in Reguengos de Monsaraz, offers unique agricultural conditions – wide diurnal temperature swings, poor and varied soils, and extraordinary biodiversity that helps produce in balance with the environment. With about 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and other crops cultivated under a Biological Production System, the estate now encompasses roughly 40 grape varieties, four olive varieties, orchards, and vegetable gardens.
