Esporão Touriga Nacional hails from one of the oldest vineyards of this variety in Alentejo—Vinha do Badeco on the Esporão estate. With a deep garnet hue, it offers an exuberant, intense bouquet, highlighted by fresh bergamot notes and softened by delicate hints of vanilla and pink pepper. On the palate it is rich and full‑bodied, with polished tannins and a fresh, lingering finish. The Esporão company was founded in Alentejo from an unwavering desire to make the best wines. That motivation is the legacy behind every wine they produce and the main reason they have expanded their range into other products and territories. The Esporão estate, situated in the heart of Alentejo in Reguengos de Monsaraz, boasts unique agricultural conditions—large diurnal temperature swings, poor and varied soils, and extraordinary biodiversity that supports production in harmony with the environment. With around 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and other crops cultivated under a Biological Production Method, the estate now encompasses roughly 40 grape varieties, four olive varieties, orchards, and vegetable gardens.
