The Estrada da Corte red is made from Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz grapes, aged in stainless‑steel tanks for three years without oak intervention. It presents a deep red hue with brick‑toned nuances. The aroma of ripe red fruits with a hint of earthiness imparts rusticity and a persistent finish. The Quinta do Carvalhão Torto is situated in Nelas, the geographic centre of the Dão Demarcated Wine Region. Its history is deeply linked to wine production, belonging to a family ancestrally tied to the precious nectar and inheriting this “know‑how”. The vineyards cover 7 hectares with an average age of 40 years, planted at around 450 m above sea level on granitic quartzite soils.
