Born from the Alentejo’s chalky soils and the bold Alicante Bouschet grape, this Estremus is a true reflection of João Portugal Ramos’s dedication. The traditional foot-treading method on marble lagares imparts a wonderfully unique texture. Maturation in French oak *barriques* – as one would anticipate – refines the Trincadeira’s vibrant fruit character, creating a remarkably elegant and lingering wine. It’s a fantastic match with beef and aged cheeses, really.
