Description

This Reserva, crafted by Rui Roboredo from the 2017 vintage, is a delightful exploration of the schistous soils of the Douro Superior. The meticulous, hand-harvested approach – whole bunches, no destemming – yields a remarkably fresh wine with a surprising weight. Hints of buttery texture come from the 25% new oak barrels, alongside vibrant citrus and tropical fruit notes. Intriguingly, indigenous yeasts add a mineral complexity. Absolutely fantastic with grilled fish or seafood; a true culinary partner.
