The colour is so deep it’s almost ominous, carrying aromas of ripe plum and fig, with a hint of heather that lends a wonderfully wild edge. On the palate, the intensity is undeniably present, with the honeyed sweetness of the alcaçuz beautifully balancing the cherry notes.
