It presents with a straw-like colour, subtly shaded with green hints – a clear nod to the limestone soils where the grapes matured. The nose reveals a pronounced minerality, punctuated with a touch of smoke, intimately linked to the earth, alongside a characteristic pear note, undeniably signature Bical. After some airtime, honey emerges, boosting the complexity, while the palate is remarkably creamy, with a mineral intensity almost bordering on a sharpness, as if the stone itself is offering its opinion. As the Decanter critic noted, a truly exquisite pairing with white fish or grilled seafood.
