The Viura grape used to produce this wine comes from old vines more than 60 years old, cultivated according to the “corrillo” method, wherein white grapes are planted between red vines. Aged for the first five months in concrete and the next nine in oak barrels, it displays a very balanced acidity along with balsamic and mineral aromas. Moreover, previous harvests, such as 2016, earned 94 points from Peñín and were hailed by Tim Atkin as a revelation wine.
