This Baron de B Reserva clearly demanded a little patience in its youth. With a 10-14 day maceration followed by 18 months ageing in French oak, it’s developed a complexity that benefits from a gentle awakening. Expect notes of wild red berries alongside a hint of dark chocolate and spice – a wine with a distinct character. We’d suggest a pre-decant of around two hours to allow those finer flavours to fully express themselves, pairing beautifully with game meats or a hearty beef roast.
