Born from the clay and limestone soils of Herdade da Lisboa, this Chardonnay is a bold statement. Those six months spent ageing in new French oak, with that signature *battonnage*, deliver a satisfying weight and luxurious texture. The Cardoso family, who took over the estate in 2011 and have been instrumental in boosting the recognition of Alentejo wines, clearly know their craft. It’s a wine that’s perfectly suited to complementing grilled fish and fresh shellfish – a truly delightful pairing.
