The Serrano Mira family has been producing quality wines for countless generations. Their estates still house clay vats, dated 1667, that were used as containers for wine production. The great‑grandfather on the maternal side of the current owners was one of the three founders and the first president of the Adega Cooperativa de Borba, CRL, one of the most promising wineries in Alentejo. The Mira brothers have followed the family’s wine activities from a very early age, and over time have absorbed vital experiences that helped shape the Herdade das Servas project. Herdade das Servas is the cradle of wines that reflect the history of a demarcated origin zone, deeply affirming its characteristics and qualities.
