Casa Relvas is a family‑owned project founded in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, aimed at continuing the legacy of five generations with a strong passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years, the family grew alongside the business, and it wasn’t long before it expanded to cover about 750 ha of woodland, 225 ha of olive groves, and 350 ha of vineyards—all grown using integrated production methods. With its three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce around 6 million bottles of wine annually, of which 70 % are earmarked for the external market, making the house a presence in more than 30 countries worldwide and offering the best of Alentejo.
