Casa Relvas is a family‑run venture founded in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, aimed at continuing the legacy of five generations with a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years, the family grew alongside the business, and today the estate spans roughly 750 ha of native forest, 225 ha of olive groves and 350 ha of vineyards—all managed with integrated production. With its three properties—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles a year, 70 % of which are destined for the international market, making the brand available in more than 30 countries worldwide and showcasing the very best of the Alentejo.
