Born from the Reynolds family’s unwavering dedication since Thomas’s time, this wine whispers of centuries of tradition. Hand-harvested and fermented in granite lagares – a technique echoing the wine’s earliest days in the Alentejo – it boasts a remarkably robust texture, beautifully complemented by Antão Vaz and Arinto. Remarkably, it seems remarkably unchanged since John Reynolds, the grandson, took over the estate in 1929, continuing to deliver “vinhos very much like they were, back then.” Ideal for pairing with grilled beef or aged cheeses.
