The Herdade do Perú red wine comes from hand‑picked grapes and spends 16 months maturing in French oak. It has a deep red colour, and on the nose it offers a harmonious blend of quince, blackberries and blueberries, with a woody undertone. On the palate it is intense yet fresh, with firm tannins and an elegant profile that reflects the terroir – hints of pine and forest – leading to a persistent finish. Wines from Herdade do Perú arise from a unique region shaped by the Arrábida mountains and rich, homogeneous soils.
