This Alicante Bouschet from Herdade dos Grous clearly revels the warmth of the Alentejo – a seriously concentrated flavour profile and a lingering finish. Apparently, the lunar cycle played a part in the extended maceration, hinting at a robust experience, perfect alongside some hearty game or a particularly assertive cheese. Quite a celebration of Moura tradition, and surprisingly refreshing considering its ripe maturity.
