Herdade dos Grous Moon Harvested is a unique wine that combines ancestral knowledge with the natural cycles of the moon. It is made from Alicante Bouschet grapes carefully harvested during specific lunar phases, traditionally associated with a greater influence on the development of the vine. It was aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels and displays a deep, concentrated ruby colour, with complex aromas of ripe black fruit and perfectly integrated wood notes. On the palate it is dense, rich and enveloping, with silky tannins and an elegant finish, reflecting the full strength and character of this Alentejo red. Created from scratch in the Alentejo landscape, Herdade dos Grous is located in Albernoa, 17 kilometres from Beja. The estate brings together wine production, agro-livestock farming, rural tourism and wine tourism. The Alentejo, the largest province in Portugal, preserves the traditional charm of Portugal and its Moorish heritage, which is evident throughout its architecture. The continental climate with Mediterranean influences offers ideal conditions for producing great wines and regional products of the highest quality. (image for illustrative purposes only)
