This impressive reserve from Templários boasts a deeply coloured intensity, largely thanks to the presence of Touriga Nacional. Remarkably smooth tannins lend an unexpected elegance, as if the wild berry notes – passed down through Castelão and Alicante Bouschet – had been playfully dusted with dark chocolate. A fantastic pairing with a hearty roast, or perhaps a decadent beef pâté.
