Herdade Grande Grande Reserva Tinto

Description

Herdade Grande is an agricultural estate located about 5 km from Vidigueira in Alentejo. It spans a total area of 350 hectares, of which 60 hectares are vineyards, 40 hectares are olive groves, and the remaining land is used for sheep grazing. The estate has been owned by the same family for more than a century. The wine project began with vine planting in 1980 and the start of winemaking in 1997, with the goal of producing and marketing between 350,000 and 400,000 bottles of wine, of which 30 % are white and 70 % are red.
