Quinta da Escusa Reserva is a red wine made from Castelão, Sousão and Tinta Miúda grapes, presenting a dark, deep colour with aromas of dark chocolate, subtle vegetal notes, a hint of camphor, mineral nuances and a light toasted wood from ageing. On the palate it is very balanced, with present acidity and polished, elegant tannins, finishing with intensity and elegance. Quinta da Escusa spans 10 hectares linking the rural villages of Quintas and Vale de Barco, where the ancestors of the current owners were born. (illustrative image)
