Produced from Syrah grapes, the Herdade Papa Leite rosé reveals itself in a delicate, seductive salmon‑pink hue. On the nose it is intensely aromatic, with striking strawberry notes and a charming floral profile. On the palate it is soft and full of freshness, with intense strawberry flavours that linger into a persistent, vibrant finish. Herdade Papa Leite, located in Alter do Chão in the heart of Alto Alentejo, dates back to the 17th century, with surviving markers from that era still visible today. After many families passed through the area, Filipe Barreiros Cardoso, passionate about the property, acquired it, realizing with the support of his family and team an old dream of producing high‑quality products. Thus the estate was expanded and revitalised, covering 320 hectares devoted to wine, olive oil and cattle production. The vineyards are planted on clay soils, and the grapes are harvested at night and selected before entering the cellar, where the production of wine from the finest raw material is guaranteed.
