Casa Relvas is a family‑run venture founded in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas. It seeks to carry on the legacy of five generations, each driven by a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic landscape. Over the years the family has grown in tandem with the business, and today it spans roughly 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive groves, and 350 hectares of vineyards—all managed under integrated, 100 % natural production. With its three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine each year. About 70 % of that output is destined for the international market, making the brand available in more than 30 countries worldwide and delivering the very best of the Alentejo. (Illustrative image)
