With a unique biodiversity, the 20 hectares of vines at Herdade da Aldeia de Cima are planted along the varying contour lines of the slopes and valleys, creating two distinct terroirs: one on the plateau at elevations of 289–300 m and another in Serra do Mendro at 300–380 m. This unusual topography allows the vineyard to be divided into 24 micro‑terroirs. The wines are crafted directly in the vineyard, guided by a philosophy that seeks ancient knowledge, embraces diversity, highlights the mineral character of the soils, and celebrates silky textures.
