This Zinfandel, straight from the Ukiah Valley, is a proper “zinny” – you simply *have* to give it a hug. It’s wonderfully full-bodied, with tannins reminiscent of a good dark chocolate, and clearly carries the warmth of its family-run vineyards. Seriously, it’s a fantastic match for roasted lamb, or, if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, simply let it transport you on a warm summer evening.
