This Horácio Simões Heritage Purple Moscatel is, let’s be honest, a bit of a character. Intentionally aged in Armagnac, it’s brimming with a wonderfully assertive complexity – a touch of unapologetic indulgence, really. The classic Moscatel grapes deliver their signature white fruit and floral notes, but they’re wonderfully complemented by the unexpected influence of the Armagnac, adding hints of almond and spice.
