This Algarve wine, built around the mountain-bred Trincadeira, certainly packs a punch with the addition of Syrah and Alicante Bouschet – a surprisingly bold move. The time spent ageing in French oak has softened things beautifully, allowing the characteristic red fruit notes of the Aragonez grape to shine through. It’s a fantastic pairing for grilled fish or paella, and with a ranking in the top 5% according to Vivino, you can certainly raise a glass to that!
