This José Pariente Sauvignon Blanc presents a rather unassuming arrival – a result of a careful grape selection, retaining a lovely freshness from its skin contact fermentation. Those four months ageing in stainless steel tanks lend it a vibrant acidity, very much in keeping with the Sauvignon Blanc style, though tempered with a surprising smoothness that hints at a terroir perhaps less demanding than some. Wonderful with fresh seafood or a simple green salad – nothing too adventurous, you understand.
