Made primarily from Macabeu grapes with a touch of Malvasia, this Vinya de la Creu hails from a very distinctive plot featuring red clay soil topped with a calcareous layer called “cervell de gat” in the Penedès area. It ferments in stainless‑steel tanks and then ages in damasjeanne barrels for at least six months, giving the wine a distinctive personality. On the palate it is balanced and delivers flavors of ripe fruit.
