Description

This Minervois Syrah is a seriously rooted wine, echoing the legend of Minerva herself. The schistous soils of Montagne Noir, dating back to the Eocene, deliver a wonderfully stony minerality – quite a treat, really. The grapes were harvested mechanically to ensure peak quality, resulting in a wine that genuinely expresses its character, and it’s all done in concrete vats. It’s a robust and complex wine that’s ideally suited alongside a good, grilled red meat dish.
