Fermented in both lagars and trunk-shaped conical vats with extended pumping and plunging, the process ensures maximum colour and aroma extraction, revealing vibrant notes of wild berries and perfectly ripe plums. Following a 9-month aging in French oak barrels, the result is a luxuriously smooth texture, without sacrificing the wine’s inherent freshness. With 91 points from Wine Enthusiast and 90 from Robert Parker, this is a clear demonstration of the producer’s dedication to detail, culminating in a beautifully complex and elegant expression of the Alentejo – ideal paired with a hearty roasted meat.
