The red wine Liberalitas is made from Alicante Bouschet, Syrah and Touriga Nacional grapes, yielding a deep garnet hue. On the nose it offers aromas of red fruit such as strawberry and stone fruit such as cherry, blended with subtle earthy and vegetal notes. On the palate it is very fresh and velvety, with remarkable concentration and a silky texture that delivers an enveloping finish. Vinha das Virtudes came into being when José Rodrigues acquired Monte da Ribeira in 2011, a property of about 12 hectares near Évora. This project focuses on exclusive production and has been increasingly recognised for its quality. (illustrative image only)
