This Lufinha is a real statement wine from the Setúbal Peninsula – it would certainly impress the Grandes Escolhas. The deep violet hue hints at the powerful blend of Alicante Bouschet, Castelão, Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon within. Expect vibrant red and black fruit aromas, punctuated by the subtle oak influence of the estate’s heritage and the surrounding forest. On the palate, a lovely saline freshness from the Atlantic, maintained through the clay lagares, balances a refined structure and ample tannins, promising a long and rewarding lifespan. Perfect with grilled beef, of course.
