This Luís Pato Pé Franco is a wonderfully intense expression of Baga – a wine that practically shouts its love for the grape. Expect vibrant aromas of raspberry, violets, and a surprising hint of eucalyptus resin, all thanks to the careful hand-harvesting. The extended aging in new Vosges and Nevers pipettes adds a layer of sophistication, elevating the wine's already considerable complexity. Jamie Goode awarded it 94 points, and it’s a fantastic match for robust red meats and strong cheeses – though, be patient; the occasional sediment is simply the wine’s soul doing its thing.
