This Maçanita Rosé is undeniably a captivating project from two siblings and two winemakers, where their individual “enthusiasm” translates into a truly unique wine. The Touriga Nacional, the region’s premier grape, delivers vibrant floral and aromatic nuances that really stand out in this rosé. Born from vineyards in the Cima and Baixo Corgo, ranging from 200m to 750m above sea level, this wine reveals its soul with every effervescent bubble. Hand-harvested with 20kg boxes and a slow fermentation at 12°C, it meticulously preserves the complexity of the grapes. Scoring 90/100 with Robert Parker and 18.5/20 with Evasões, this Maçanita demonstrates that sometimes, simple elegance is the key to greatness. It pairs wonderfully with seafood or a classic Greek salad.
