Maçanita A Maçanita Vinhos is a project of two brothers and two winemakers. The wines are made in collaboration, yet some reflect each brother’s preferences, habits or vision. This wine comes from the final pressing, delivering the most concentrated, golden‑coloured juice. It is Laranja do Norte, the finest orange, born and matured by the northern climate. Origin Baixo Corgo, vines at 540–700 m altitude Vinification The grapes, after a gentle pressing, are macerated for 3–4 days and then pressed again. Fermentation is spontaneous in stainless steel, with temperature control. The wine is aged for 18 months in stainless steel. Launch March 2024 Enologists Joana Maçanita and António Maçanita Food Pairing Puff pastries, cheese tarts and baked white meats.
