This Magnum Meandro is a wine that doesn’t pull any punches – a deep, almost dramatic ruby, as if the Douro itself had gathered its essence. The nose is a celebration of wild berries, imbued with the characteristic intensity you only get from *Tinta Barroca*. The acidity is wonderfully subtle yet undeniably present, reminiscent of good green olive oil, and the passionfruit? Well, the passionfruit is simply a bold statement. I’d pair this with a hearty black pork roast, without a doubt.
