Description

Winemaking: The grapes are selected and hand-harvested from the best plots of Quinta da Lêda. At the winery, a second selection takes place on the sorting table to ensure the highest quality. After destemming and gentle crushing, the grapes are transferred to stainless steel vats, where alcoholic fermentation takes place. Maceration is long and gentle, extracting the compounds that contribute to the wine's colour, aroma and flavour. For about 18 months, the wine was aged in new (50%) and used (50%) French oak barrels. The final blend was assembled based on the numerous tastings and analyses carried out over this period. To preserve the highest quality of this wine, Quinta da Lêda is subjected to only one filtration before bottling. As it is not cold-stabilised, the formation of sediment during bottle ageing is natural. Serving suggestions: Pairs well with meat dishes, game and cheeses. Store horizontally in a cool, dry place, protected from light and temperature fluctuations. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18°C. Drink responsibly.
