This Douro wine clearly spent some time chatting with its old vines. Ripe black fruit notes, practically begging for a slice of roasted pork with bread, intertwine with a touch of dark chocolate elegance. The texture is wonderfully enveloping, yet remarkably refined – perfect alongside a slow-roasted beef, I’d say.
