This Marquês D’Almeida, hailing from the Beira Interior, is a wine that genuinely feels like it’s sprung from the limestone itself. Its vibrant freshness is dominated by bright citrus notes – think a lime gleaming – tempered beautifully by a mineral character that seems to have been pulled straight from the surrounding rocks. Careful fermentation, maintained between 12 and 14°C, ensures a fantastic balance, allowing the Schist variety to truly shine. Absolutely perfect with grilled fish or seafood rice, you know.
