The judicious use of old, varied-sized oak barrels adds layers of complexity and subtle nuances, reflecting the wine’s age. Predominantly made with Jaén, which brings ripe red fruit notes, alongside Touriga Nacional for elegance, this is a wine that demands a robust, aged cheese or perhaps a delightful duck with orange.
