Medeiros Wines is the result of the passion and determination of its founder, António Agostinho Marques Figueira de Chaves, who traded his Lisbon city life for the Alentejo plains. After acquiring the estate in the Moura region, the winery was rebuilt on a nearly 200‑year‑old ruin, preserving its architectural character, and today it serves as the birthplace of Medeiros wines.
