This Meet & Meat, hailing from the Tejo region, clearly demonstrates a producer with a rather intense attention to detail. The winemaking process – with careful separation of the grapes and strict temperature control (22-25°C) – suggests a producer who absolutely refuses to compromise. The 40% oak aging, combined with the structure provided by Trincadeira and Aragonez, promises a complexity beautifully rounded out by the Castelão’s juicy fruit. It’s a wine that’s sure to make a strong impression. Perfect with grilled beef, perhaps a nice roast, or even a classic bife à portuguesa.
