M.O.B. Branco

Description

This M.O.B. is a genuine head-scratcher from the Dão – born in some seriously chilly conditions at the foot of the Serra da Estrela. It seems these winemakers were utterly bewitched by the place! A blend of ancient vines across 15 hectares in Seia and Gouveia, using Encruzado and Bical, has produced a white that fermented in both stainless steel and new oak, with a delightful touch of *battonage* that gives it a remarkably smooth texture. Apparently, it’s so good, even the winemakers need somewhere to run away to! Perfect with grilled fish or fresh shellfish, really.
