This Monologue Chardonnay, grown on the Quinta dos Espinhosos with a commitment to sustainable practices (currently transitioning to organic, mind you!), is a wine that truly values its purity. The winemaking, featuring hand-selection and extended maceration, aims to highlight the character of the Chardonnay grapes – naturally – and the unique terroir. The result is a wine with remarkably expressive aromas, promising a rich palate and a lingering finish, much to the delight of Robert Parker, who awarded it 87 points. Pairs beautifully with grilled fish or oysters – a delightfully contrasting combination.
