This Monte da Caçada, hailing from the Alentejo, is a wonderfully surprising testament to the region’s Mediterranean climate and clay-rich soils. A blend of Touriga Nacional, robust Alicante Bouschet, and elegant Syrah, it delivers a wine of intense colour, bursting with ripe red fruits that dance beautifully alongside warming spice notes. The ageing in a mix of French and American oak lends a velvety texture – absolutely perfect with a hearty grilled beef dish, or perhaps a succulent wild boar roast.
