Description

The production of Moscatel, as a fortified wine, is similar to that of Port, yielding sweet wines whose alcoholic fermentation is halted by adding grape spirit. After a period of pellicular maceration, the moscatel is placed in barrels for aging and refinement, developing a richly aromatic profile. These wines are made from various Moscatel grape varieties, internationally renowned for their aromatic richness and natural sugar concentration. The bottling year may not match the image shown.
