The bottles of vintage wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected for their age. The National Cellar commits to store all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, by nature, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we inform that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas are subject to different evolutions. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine air out beforehand, as it will help release its natural aromas after so many years sealed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, make sure to do it patiently to detect the appearance of sediment that, typically, an old wine tends to form.
