This Mouchão Abafado is a curious little enigma from the Alentejo – it’s clearly enjoyed a bit too much sunshine, resulting in a delightful, almost decadent sweetness. The Alicante Bouschet adds a surprisingly spicy counterpoint, beautifully balanced against the richness, while the Aragonez provides a solid foundation of ripe red fruit. Seriously, it’s a bold digestivo, but would also be fantastic with a dark chocolate cake – prepare for a memorable experience!
